Timing Services are provided by Keep it Simple Timing (KitST) and results will be available to view on the day as they happen from the website: https://liveresults.kitst.co.uk/#bptr-reverse25.csv

Parking

Parking is at Bertha Park High School – please park in marked bays – not in drop off/pick up points. We have permission to use the bus parking on the left hand side of the school IF we run out of car spaces in the main car park. Please park considerately.
If we do run out of space there is parking in the streets near the school. They are our neighbours so please be friendly.
Parking opens at 8.00am, please park after this time to allow us and the volunteers to get set up in the school.
School Address:
Bertha Park High School, Adamson Ave, Perth PH1 0AU

Toilets:
We have access to the toilets inside the Hub and chemical toilets at the start\finish, please note there is a short walk to the start line

Start Times:
Race starts at 9:00am
There will be a quick race briefing at 8.50am

The course:
This is a trail run and it IS muddy!

Approx 50% of the 10km is on tarmac BUT the 50% on trail is VERY technical – we’re talking avoiding tripping on tree roots and leaping over fallen trees – so you’ll want to wear shoes that work on both trail and tarmac.

We recommend using trail shoes.
This is a trail run so please keep your eyes peeled for arrows and listen to what race marshals tell you. If you feel like it’s been a while since you saw one of our markers, back track to the last one.
It is quite a simple loop so we don’t anticipate you getting lost.

All our marshals are unpaid volunteers so please listen to what they say and please be kind – they’re giving up their Sunday morning to support us in this race and for that we’re extremely grateful.

Please do not drop litter – especially on the trail – take all litter with you or place it in a bin along the river path. Most of the course is shared with walkers, dogs, cyclists etc please be courteous to other users of the path.

There are only a couple of road crossings – there are no road closures - so please practise safe and sensible road crossings.

Finish
The finish is on the Green at Bertha Park next to the visitors car park.
Your supporters/spectators can come along and cheer you over the finish.

The visitors car park is closed to runners, only official race cars can use the visitors car park on the day, and residents who normally use it so please ask your supporters to park at the school – see above.

Water Station
There is 1 water station on the 10km course. This is just over the bridge near the weir.
Please note there is no toilet at this water station.

Big Bertha
The BPTR is running alongside our Big Bertha event. This is a 12 hour run over the same 10k course. Please support our crazy Big Bertha's during your run and feel free to hang around and cheer them on

If you have any questions, please contact me soon as it gets busy as we get closer to the event.

Many Thanks Ben & Nic
